Sol y Mar is a family owned, artisinal coffee roaster in Montreal. After a few years in operation they felt the need to revamp their logo; develop a brand which reflected the growing, successful business that they are today.

We worked together to create a brand which was approachable, human, and colourful to reflect their Central American heritage.

The classic coin shape is representative of commerce and trade. While the sun and ocean are a subtle allusion to travel and transformation.
